WHITEHORSE

Whitehorse became the Yukon's capital in 1953 after the territorial seat of government was moved from Dawson City. With a population of more than 20,000, Whitehorse is a contemporary city, characterised by a mix of pioneer spirit and urban sophistication. Log cabins share the street with modern office buildings.
