TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

This twin island country, known for its incredible flora and fauna, is equally renowned as the birthplace of the steel band, limbo, calypso and Carnival - the biggest and most famous Caribbean festival, celebrated each year 40 days before Easter.  Carnival frenzy and its colorful extravaganza of dance, music and costumed parades take place during the pre-Lenten season in February and March. Trinidad combines an energetic pace in its capital, Port of Spain, with the tropical lushness of its interior.

Pristine and laid back, Tobago is a great place to unwind. Its waters offer divers and snorkelers an amazing variety of dive sites. Other attractions include Little Tobago Island, one of the most important seabird colonies in the Caribbean, the Main Ridge Range Forest for excellent hiking, and the Mount Irvine Golf Club for championship golf.

TEXAS

Texas is the second largest state in the U.S. at 268,001 square miles. Six flags flown over Texas: Spain, France, United Mexican States, Confederate States of America, the Republic of Texas and the United States of America, with eight changes of government.
It's not so exaggerated to think of Texas as a whole other country, 800 miles wide and nearly that far from north to south. Sunny seacoast to mile-high mountains; dense forests to cactus-studded desert; great cities and towns! Texas is derived from an Indian word, Tejas, which means friendship. Texas is sun land from the Gulf Coast to mile-high mountains, and in every season of the year.

San Antonio

In 1718 Spain established Mission San Antonio de Valero (later called the Alamo). Today's city name derives from those 18th-Century Spanish beginnings. San Antonio is colourfully accented by its multicultural heritage (Spanish Canary Islanders, Mexican, German and others). Riverwalk This tree-shaded path along the San Antonio River was built as a flood-control project during the Depression-era New Deal. Now a horseshoe-shaped, open-air promenade lined with shops, Riverwalk is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city.

Second to the Alamo, the Riverwalk is the most visited site in all of Texas. With its open air cafes, art galleries, and specialty shops, there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy.

SYDNEY

The gateway to Australia

Sydney is Australia's largest and most cosmopolitan city. It is the capital of the state of New South Wales. Although the majority of the 'sydneysiders' are of British and Irish descent, there are substantial minorities of immigrants from Italy, Greece and Asia. Sydney is a sprawling city, and, though the centre contains many tall buildings, most of its inhabitants live in one or two  storey houses in the suburbs and travel into the centre to work.

Sydney is the biggest port in Australia, with a huge natural harbour spanned by the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. On 31st December, Sydney Harbour hosts the spectacular New Year's Eve firework display. It is also a major cultural centre, with one of the world's most imaginative and best-known opera houses.

Australians are famous for their ability to relax and enjoy life. In Sydney they can sail, go to one of the many sandy beaches, including the famous Bondi Beach (a paradise for surfers and swimmers), or simply cook up an fresco meal on the barbecue in the garden.
